Dear all,
After having worked more than 40 years with the ASD community, 25 of which were with my company, Building Blocks, I have decided to semi-retire.
Unfortunately, this reduction in services means we will no longer be accepting new referrals for children aged 5 to 11 for our Saturday programs. Our Saturday groups will end in December 2025.
The teen groups will continue to be scheduled during the week for the following programs
organized by Lynda-Marie Trifilette, facilitator for the teen groups.
- Social Skills Group: ages 13 – 14, 15 – 16
- Self – Advocacy Groups: ages 14 – 15, 16 – 18
- Understanding and Building Executive Functioning Skills: ages 14 – 15, 16 – 18

It is important to recognize our BB team of facilitators for their dedication and commitment to delivering programs that promote learning in a fun environment. Their work is key to ensuring that participants learn new skills that generalize to other home and community settings.
Last, but not least, our intake coordinator is not only the main contact for families who
complete online registration, but also the person who follows up with families that need help in accessing support or more information about our programs.
On behalf of the team, I want to thank you for your continued support and trust in Building
Blocks; it has been a privilege to work alongside this incredible community, and I look forward to seeing the ongoing growth and success of the families we will continue to serve.
